It shall have a round neck and the length will be just below the Knee with a inseam split to the Groin Area.The Arm holes will be round.
The Surcoat should be constructed to accommodate your armour or a maile halburk and Gambison.
All Serjent brothers may wear a Black or brown mantle and hood and/or cloak with black trim. Lining the mantle in Sheeps or lambs wool may be added (for winter ONLY) At the Discrepancy of the Bailie.
You may wear a black cloth Sleeveless Gambison with black trim and hood.
In regards to Armour all Serjent brothers will wear a Chapeau de fur only.
They may wear black or brown leather arm bracers or black/brown cloth wrappings as approved by the Bailie.
Leg Armour may be worn that does not include the feet. All armour must be of the type of the third crusades Weapons carried may include a Period Sword (Combat Quality no wall hanging toys),a spear,a turkish mace,a hand or battle Axe,a dagger(one)....and perhaps a crossbow (must get permission).
Black gloves with a large Cuff will be worn (no Ornimentations)
