Name: Helmut Heinrich Scheiner von Meer
Tortosa is a Templar Baillie under the watchful eye of Brother Helmut, Its Baili and Commander of Tortosa. His Days are filled with things that are rather mundane. Approving food transport, collecting Taxes and keeping the area safe of the infidel. He Often is at Odds with the Bishop of Tortosa as the Bishop feels the Templars have to much power in the region....mayhaps he is right but the Pope is the ultimate word and he has spoken.
The Sugar mills are working well to create revenue by the Saracen women that work it (Yes they are Slaves).
Helmut is the son of a Knight (in fact the Baron of Tyre) and was born in Mount Joy (Seria).
Helmut has been a crusader since he was a young boy of 16, and that was a long time ago... As Baili he indulges in the few gifts he is given by his family and can read (a rare thing with the Templar) as he keeps many books.
Helmut is a large man at over 6'3 he stands a foot above most men of his era. A large appitite comes with large man, and he has been victim to overindulgence but he keeps this out of the eyes of the other brothers.
Helmut also is an artist, and a craftsman. He has fought in Crusade and survived.. Helmut is also known to write but has of yet he has not gained papal approval for his works.
