THE WORLD OF NED KELLY  This site tells the story of Ned Kelly, Bushranger, with pages of the history of other Australian Bushrangers: there is an extensive list and it is well worth checking out to see if your ancestors were mentioned in the narration, even if they were not bushrangers themselves, as these pages are rich in history.

A VOYAGE TO AUSTRALIA IN 1854  Annie Stuart tells the story of her ancestors who came out to Australia as assisted immigrants in 1854. Annie's story is rich in detail and gives a very good account of the aims of the immigration system and also the requirements. There is a list of rations and medicines, and also a list of occupations of the immigrants.
