GENE MACINTOSH GENEALOGY SOFTWARE Gene is a shareware genealogy database for the Macintosh. Use Gene to store family data and notes, draw and print family trees and pedigree charts, create web pages from your database, and exchange GEDCOM data with users of other genealogy programs. Gene is capable of handling complicated databases with thousands of names, multiple marriages and divorces, adoptions, illegitimate children, and intermarriage between relatives. PEDIGREE DRAW "Pedigree/Draw provides for creation, editing and drawing of pedigrees of human or nonhuman families. The package consists of applications, example files, and a User's Guide (81 pages). It may be downloaded from these pages without cost, or acquired for a nominal fee on a 3 1/2" diskette. The Guide is available online in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF), or may be purchased as a printed, spiral-bound manual. Pedigree/Draw is Year 2000 compliant."
SPARROWHAWK "Sparrowhawk is a GEDCOM-to-HTML conversion program for the Macintosh. It is based on version 2.5a of Gene Stark's GED2HTML program for Windows and UN*X. Given a file in GEDCOM format, Sparrowhawk will create a set of linked HTML documents containing the genealogical information contained in the file. "
