Hello and welcome to Starlight Stables! We are going to take you on a virtual tour of the stable, enjoy!
As you walk through the large doors of
the stables a girl walks up to you,
"Hello, let me show you around the
stable!" You look to your left and see
an open door with a sign that says
Office nailed above the door frame! You
look to your right and see a large row
or ribbons hanging on the wall!
You look closer at all the pictures and
notes below the ribbons and decide that
they must be from shows that the stables
boarders and owners must have won!
The girl turns to you and hands you a
picture,
"This is an arial veiw of the stable",
she points to the big white oval shaped
thing on the picture, that is our 3/4
mile race track! The blue spot is the
lake on our property, it doesnt have a
name yet. The silver roof is our main
stable and the brown roof is our
breeding barn! As you walk on you see
two rows of stalls, one row on the left
side and one row on the right side! Each
row has 50 stalls, you see several horse
heads poke out of their half stalls and
the girl leads you over to one of the
stalls the gold nameplate had the words
Shaklans Padron engraved in it.
This the girl says is our top breeding
stallion! His name is Shaklans Padron!
He is the stables "prized stallion!"
You walk along the row and you notice
that all the other name plates are
beautiful light oak wood with a shiny
enamel gloss coating the oak and each
horses name is engraved into the
wood! You see a set of cross ties in a
little space in between the two rows and
as you go farther down you come to the
end of the row you look into the last
stall, this the girl said is our bathing
stall! across from the bathing stall you
see a mounting block and another set of
cross ties. You are now at the end of
the stable and there is a HUGE set of
doors, you walk through them and see a
whole buch of paddocs! You decide that
from the looks of it you really like
this barn but you want the best for your
horses so you wander back to the office
petting horses on the way. You walk
through the door but noone is there so
you take a packet of papers that says
BOADRERS across the top of it and walk
back out to explore the stable a bit
more, you notice a ladder that goes up
to what must be the hay loft, so you
climb up it to do a little hay
inspection. As you sort through the
loose hay you search for bugs mold etc
but find nothing but high quality grass
hay so you get up and turn around and
see a fire extinguisher,"thats good you
think to yourself." You look up and see
a smoke and a fire alarm but you also
notice that on the other side of the
barn it is not filled with grass hay but
an alfalfa/grass mix! Satisfied you
climb back down the ladder and notice
yet another thing you didnt see before a
white box hanging on the wall that says
1st AID on it
you look around and see several more
hanging in different places! You walk
over to the box closest to you and see a
list of what is in it you read it
outloud to
yourself,"veterinarian-approved items:
alchohol prep pads, elastic bandage,
Corona ointment, gauze pads, latex
gloves, hydrogen peroxide, cold compress
with towels to wrap, Providone prep
pads, saline solution, scissors,
sponge/brush, irrigating syringe,
tourniquet and bandaging tape.
Waterproof case." You walk back to the
stalls and look into an empty one, you
see a rubber stall mat covered with
fresh straw and you also notice a water
bucket and a mounted hay rack!
