Montana CMENC
Collegiate Music Educator's National Conference
PURPOSE
Montana CMENC is an organization created and designed
for the future music educators of our state. CMENC is an important group,
both for the students involved and for the teachers across the state who
are excited to meet and get to know future music educators. Each
year, the membership and participation of local chapters grows, and the
communication across the state helps to draw the chapters closer together.

ACTIVITIES
Chapter Activities
Throughout the year, CMENC chapters hold local meetings,
invite guest speakers and teachers for lectures and activities, and provide
services within their local departments and communities.
State Activities
MMEA state conference --Each fall, the MMEA state conference
is held in conjunction with the All-State Music Festival. CMENC is
a major participant in this convention. Workshops, lectures and other
activities are provided for the students as well as the teachers.
Spring retreat--Each spring, the chapters meet once again
for a spring retreat. This is an opportunity for the members to plan
the convention for the ensuing fall, hold workshops and make state-wide
connections with their peers.
