NEWS: 20th Anniversary of the H-Block Hungerstrikes in Northern Ireland
On May 5, 1981 brother Riobard O' Seachnasaich, MP (Bobby Sands, MP), along with ten other Irish Prisoners of War, laid down his life for fellow human rights comrades and the Irish people struggling for social justice. On May 5, 2001 is the 20th anniversary of the first death, Bobby Sands, and there will be a moment of silence. If you are going to be in the Seattle area on May 5th there is going to be a gathering outside the British Consulate at 900 4th Ave in downtown Seattle. More info on that as Nicole finds out! If you are an Unrepentant Fenian Bastard (say it loud, say it proud) and will be in Missoula on this day, get together with your friends and plan something to acknowledge this important day! To find out more and how you can get involved please go to HSCOM Website.
Please feel free to emailNicole in Seattle with any questions.
