This is a land of few metals; of the needra, beasts that walk on six legs; of the Thun, centuar-like creatures; of the cho-ja, insectoid beings who aide the Tsurani . . . if you happen to be the highest bidder. It is a culture where honor is everything and yet, murder is applauded -- as long as it hurts your enemies and you are not caught.
It is an Empire controlled by the Great Game, a sport of intrigue and deception that is played by the many houses and clans of the Tsurani, in which blood is often shed under the guise of honor. So watch your step and mark your enemies . . . and enter Kelewan.
