Up Close And Personal with The Elusive...
Sky Test: Set Background
Formerly known as Bobcat Stew, among other names. This elusive tiger can be found inhabiting the Emerald Isle, otherwise known as The Rep of Ireland, in the town of Dublin, population approx. 2 million.
I have been playing spades for more years than I care to mention and came to Tigers purely by chance but has been the best decision I made, to become a member of the Tiger Family, where I serve as a Den Assistant representing my corner of the world. I am also a member of the Tiger Pride team on the NIL League.
Personal Details, Male, Fifty years of age Wow that number frightens me cos I feel more like a thirty something, (possibly the best age in my mind) but birthday cards don't lie. Married (but separated two and a half years), Three Children, all girls, Leanne, Danielle and Kelly. No dogs no cats just one dead gold fish. I work as a Sales Rep for a snack food company.
I have one hobby, if you want to call it that, I call it a way of life, and that is the game of darts. I am the General Secretary of the Irish National Darts Organization, and was active in organizing the Europe Cup, which was held in Ireland in September 2006. Darts take up the vast majority of my life and has taken me all over the world. From Australia to the USA. Yes people, I have a very big soft spot for your great Country, especially Texas, possibly my favorite destination of all.
I have met some Tigers and some ex Tigers and some wannabe Tigers (the poor fools lol) and had a great time with all. Some, like Tiger_Cymru_DA, live next door to me (Wales is only a hop, skip and a jump across the sea from here) and Hazmac (who I regret to say have never met, yet), from bonny Scotland - again, a close neighbor. You never know where I might turn up next. So be on the look out for a long haired hippy from Ireland. He has been know to hang out in bars playing darts or pool, or if drunk, both at the same time. And listening to loud rock music.
I have one philosophy for life, "This aint a rehearsal - it’s the real thing We won't be getting any second chance. So make sure you live your life to the fullest." Yes, we all have regrets. But that is life. My biggest was letting a lady get away. But hey, as I said, get on with it, learn from your mistakes and live life to the full. Life is fleeting and eternity is a heck of a long time (I think). So make your passing count, have fun, stop and smile awhile. Take time out from the daily grind and have fun, be a child (when no one is looking lol) take a chance. ENJOY YOURSELF.
If any of you Tigers ever come to Ireland let me know and we will have a laugh and you can enjoy a slice of Celtic hospitality.
