Chapter 4; Lizzie

The next day, Lizzie was in another bad mood. Brandon - her ex - had decided to tell everyone that they had been sleeping together and that's why he broke up with Lizzie because she was too sex demanding. That was the biggest lie she'd ever heard in her life, why would she want to sleep with a loser like that? All it did was make Lizzie all the more pissed off.

Lizzie decided to go to the park, she had nothing to do for the rest of the day so she decided just to go to the park and watch other people have fun with their families and friends.

Lizzie looked over and saw the three guys from the day before; AJ and his two friends. Lizzie let out an annoyed sigh, why the hell was AJ looking at her? The tall blond one walked away, seemingly angry.

"Lizzie!" a familiar voice called.

As AJ and his friend looked over at her, Lizzie sighed and turned her profile to them. Her friend, Karen Shelly, was running at her.

"Hi, Karen, 'sup?"

Karen sat down beside her and frowned. "I heard about you and Brandon. Is it true that you slept with him?"

Lizzie sighed, word got around so fast anymore. Also, she knew that AJ and his friend could hear every word said. "No! why would I wanna sleep with a loser like that? I am so moving on! I already have another crush!" it was a lie but Karen was a blond - or at least she acted that way. In reality she had black hair and dull gray eyes - and wouldn't know. Also, Lizzie wanted AJ and his friend to hear her. Maybe that would make AJ think twice before calling her 'doll' again. AJ glanced at the shorter, blue eyed man beside him and said something quietly.

Karen smiled, "Oh! Who is it?"

Lizzie snorted, "You think I'm gonna tell you? Girl, you have the biggest mouth in town, and that's bad considering that we live in Orlando!"

Karen reached out and slapped Lizzie in the face. "What the hell is your problem?!"

Lizzie glared at her, "What's yours?"

Karen frowned, "Lizzie, you need professional help." With that, the other girl stood and stalked away.

Lizzie frowned and walked over to a big shade tree. She laid her head back on her hand and propped her feet on the grass, her knees raised. Lizzie stared up at the sky through the leaves and saw two birds - Morning Doves - fly overhead, singing a beautiful song. Lizzie smiled and let out a sigh. She closed her eyes and let out another sigh, a sad sigh, as her mind went back to a time she longed to forget.

"Lizzie!" Jordan ran into their room where Lizzie was playing with her dolls. The room was split in half, on Jordan's side there were G. I. Joe's and Ninja Turtles; on Lizzie's side there were teddy bears and baby dolls.

Jordan and Lizzie looked a lot alike for boy-girl twins. Their eyes were the exact same shade of emerald green, the had the same silky brown hair and cute smiles and full lips. The one major difference was their personalities. Jordan was really laid back and easy going, always ready to stand up for what he thought. Lizzie was the exact opposite. Jordan was always standing up for her, telling other people to leave her alone. Lizzie was really sweet and shy. It was obvious that he was born first. Lizzie was absolutely gorgeous and Jordan was very, very handsome.

Lizzie looked up, "Yeah?"

Jordan's emerald green eyes were wide with excitement. "Ma said that I get to meet our big sister! She's old! Like, almost nine!"

Lizzie smiled, she had the flu and wasn't allowed outside. "That's great, Bubby!" Bubby was Lizzie's special name for Jordan. his special name for her was Tizzy.

Jordan grinned, "Since yer sick, I'll tell 'ya all 'bout her when I get home, kay?"

Lizzie nodded, "Kay, see 'ya Bubby."

Jordan hugged her close, "See 'ya, Tizzy! I love you!" they never said 'Good bye' or 'bye' to each other.

"I love you, too."

Lizzie felt tears rolling down her face. That was the last time she saw him, her Bubby. That was the day that Jordan and their older sister - Lizzie never learned her name - were kidnapped. Lizzie never told anyone how much it hurt; how many times she'd prayed to God to kill her; she felt as though half of her was missing too. Lynn - Lizzie's mom - thought that Jordan was dead but something inside Lizzie told her not to believe it too. The day that Jordan came up missing, Lizzie's mood changed. She hasn't been the same.

Lizzie heard footsteps beside her and she opened her eyes. Standing above her were AJ and his blue eyed - very HOT blue eyed - friend. They were looking down at her.

"You ok, doll?" AJ asked.

Lizzie stood, her draw string skirt ridden up almost high enough to show off her tan thighs and her navy blue Tommy Hilfiger shirt ridden up so that her tummy was showing. She pulled both downward. "I'm not your doll."

AJ grinned and glanced at his friend before looking back at Lizzie, "I know, gorgeous."

Lizzie held her hand up to stop him. "Look, I'm flattered that you think I'm gorgeous but I DO have a name. It's Lizzie Perkins, kay?"

AJ smiled and took her hand, bringing it to his lips and kissing it. "Pleased to meet you, Lizzie Perkins. I'm AJ McLean and this is Brian Littrell."

Lizzie tried to hide her blush as she pulled her hand away and stuck both hands in her back pockets, her breasts lifting. "Look, I'm having a bad week so I'll see 'ya around."

AJ smiled at her breasts before looking at her face, "When can I see or talk to you again?"

Lizzie paused, "Um, I'm in the phone book, look me up and call or something." Then she turned and walked away.
