Brian frowned and forced a sweet smile as Leigh Anne kissed his cheek. Mandy stood by her side, a smile on her lips. Brian inwardly shuddered at the thought of Leigh Anne's lips touching him anywhere. He used to love the thought of her kissing him but now it just made him feel sick to his stomach.
Leigh Anne pulled back and Brian felt Nick looking at him. Brian smiled at him and saw him turn around and face two girls, the first two fans to arrive. Brian looked them over. The one talking to Nick was obviously the older of the two, standing in front of the other in a protective manner. She had short, dark hair and dark eyes that never left Nick's face for a second except to glance at the other girl. She was wearing tan Capri's and a blue baby-T. She was the taller of the two but she didn't look mean. Her eyes were fixed on Nicks as the talked.
Brian turned his gaze to the smaller girl and felt his heart thump faster. If he didn't know any better he would have sworn that she was an angel or a goddess! She was so gorgeous!! His gaze traveled slowly upward from her dark blue Nikes to her long khakis then up to the tight wife beater and the open blue shirt. The wife beater showed off her big breasts, bigger than most younger girls he'd ever seen. Then he tore his gaze upward to her dark hair that was pulled back in a loose bun, a couple strands falling into her face. His gaze settled on her large, innocent, green eyes. She was watching Nick and the other girl talk, her eyes moving back and forth between the two. Brian decided to make himself known and walked over.
Nick was laughing about something and the taller girl was smiling brightly. The younger one was giggling softly. Brian smiled, "What's so funny, Frack?"
Three sets of eyes turned to him. Nick grinned, "Oh, Elisa here was just telling me something that struck me as funny."
Brian smiled at Elisa, the older one. "Really?"
She nodded, "Yes." Then she elbowed the smaller one gently and whispered in her ear. The other girl blushed brightly and hissed.
"Eli!!"
Elisa giggled, "Liz here is kinda shy, ain't 'ya Lizzie?" her voice was teasing.
Brian smiled, so, the angel's name was Liz. Liz blushed again, "Very funny, Elisa."
Brian looked at her, his eyes stuck on hers. "Eh, don't worry about it. Nick here is kinda shy too."
Liz nodded, her eyes on his. "Yeah…"
As Brian looked into her eyes, he felt his heart rush. What did this mean? "So, uh, you guys staying for the concert?"
Liz nodded and glanced at Elisa. Elisa was clearly the more outgoing one of the two. She was still standing slightly in front of Liz, her dark eyes often on the younger girl as if reading her thoughts. It made Brian wonder how close the girls were. They looked somewhat alike - though it was clear that they weren't related. They must have been very close.
"Yeah, this is my birthday present to Lizzie." Elisa said.
Brian smiled, "Really? How old are you?"
Liz looked down, "Seventeen."
Brian started to reply when his heart thumped harder. Seventeen?! Wasn't his heart always telling him that she would be sixteen or seventeen? Brian shook his head to try and clear his thoughts. Nick looked at him, his eyes seeming to ask if everything was alright. Brian nodded slowly. His mind was confused; his heart was racing faster than he could ever remember it beating. What did all of this mean?
Leigh Anne choose that moment to walk over and take his arm. Liz's eyes lowered and she kind of moved back, even farther behind Elisa. Elisa looked at Leigh Anne and her eyes darkened. She moved over, positioning herself in front of Liz. Nick looked over and frowned.
"Hey, Wonder-Bitch, why don't you go back over there with 'it' and hang out where you're wanted?" he asked.
Leigh Anne gave a sarcastic laugh, "You're so funny, Nickolas! But, Mandy and I don't get along so well."
Nick snickered, "That's a lie. You two were getting along just fine a couple of minutes ago."
Leigh Anne flipped him off and pulled Brian closer for a kiss. Brian was kinda surprised and something deep inside him told him not to kiss Leigh Anne. He started to push her off when Liz turned and walked from the room, her head down. Elisa glared at Brian and turned and followed her friend. Brian wondered what he had done as he pushed Leigh Anne off of him and shook his head.
