The story goes, that while running sprints and working hard in the weight room; the 2002 Hamilton Township seniors made a bet with the coaching staff. If the Rangers win the 2002 Mid State League Title, the coaches have to let the team shave their heads bald. The players would joke about it and crack jokes towards them as the season went on. Quickly after the Circleville game, where the Rangers locked up a share with for the MSL title, there celebration began. Through out all the cheers and joyus screams the "bet" was forgotten. Until, someone replied out, "Hey, don't the coaches have a bet that they have to step up to?" Then so be it, the next Monday, all the fun began! Go Rangers...... 2002 Mid State League Buckeye Division CHAMPIONS!
