06 october / sorry again about the delay on my blogs lately...i've been super busy and it's really hard to find time to do much of anything. this week went by pretty quickly...wednesday i went on a st. louis field trip, which was pretty fun. it was sooo hot...90 degrees or so...which i think is pretty crazy for october, especially in the midwest. the zoo was not very fun because of the heat and the fact that we spent 3 entire hours there...yuck...but the science museum and the arch were both neato even though i've been to them before. anyway...in other news...we haven't had a decent play rehearsal since tuesday...wednesday, i wasn't there and thursday was just costuming stuff for a few people...friday and saturday rehearsals have been cancelled for a while since we're getting a lot done during the week. i actually miss rehearsals, and we don't have one tomorrow either because of our choir concert. i don't know what i'll do when the whole thing is over. hmm...boring weekend...i babysat last night and today i saw the musical "street scene" as performed by the ue theatre/music departments. funfunfun. the show was really good...the tone of the songs was kind of different though...i can't really explain it but it was one of the oddest musicals, technically speaking, that i've seen. anyway. it (and my dad) got me thinking about possibly majoring in theatre in college...i'm not sure if i have the talent...it's very competitive...but then again, acting seems natural and fun to me while forensic science is just kind of something i'm interested in. i think i might be a better actress than a scientist because it just fits my personality better. sooo, i'm confused about that. well, i have to finish some homework, and possibly work on the new layout i'm designing for this. au revoir!

28 september / helloo. happy saturday. i'm so glad it's the weekend...stupid standardized testing was getting old. even so...this week was decent...i totally broke down on wednesday though...partly because my cd player (basically my life) broke and partly because i'm convinced i am never going to find an interesting guy who actually likes me back. ughhh. but i don't really want to relive that, so...yeah. thursday was fun cast outing day for the week...we went out to dinner and had a discussion about love in high school for some odd reason...kinda funny because half the people were like "i'm going to marry my boyfriend!", some were like "you're stupid, high school love doesn't exist" and one girl was saying "i'm not getting into this!". it was a nice conversation though...afterwards we all watched friends and scrubs. i don't get the appeal of friends...in my opinion it's more cheesy than funny. but hey, i'm weird like that. friday...we got report cards...i got straight a's...excitement! i haven't gotten straight a's since middle school, so i'm happy. we also had a homecoming assembly...gag...more like "popularity contest disguised as school spirit". ohh well. i did get a new cd player after school though, and it even plays my scratched-up cds. yay. i'm currently listening to dashboard confessional nonstop...i love him...his lyrics rock...his guitar rocks...the overall music rocks...yeah, you get the idea. okay, this is long, so i'm going to get off...bye.

23 september / lalala, i'm back again. aren't you excited? my sister says that my blog is boring, so sorry if i'm BORING you. :P anyway. aaah, i finally memorized the electron config order for chemistry. 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s2 3d10 4p6 5s2 4d10 5p6 6s2 4f14 5d10 6p6 7s2 5f14 6d10 7p6! excitement! yeah, that was probably the most exciting thing that happened today. pretty boring day...but no homework. yay. oh wait...algebra was the most fun...our teacher completely freaked out when two guys accidentally dropped papers all over the floor. she screamed at everyone and made a big deal about how we're in HONORS and we should be able to pass out papers and how she had better things to do than deal with us...um helloooo that is her JOB...but she is just psychotic. play rehearsal tonight...oh joy...and i really want to watch csi : miami after that. i've actually never seen csi, but seeing as i want to be a forensic scientist, i'll probably like it. i think i'm going to make a links page for the site...so i'll stop this very boring entry and go do it. bye.

22 september / yay! new layout today! dashboard confessional...one of my favorites...thanks to lissy designs. anyway.
i absolutely love the band death cab for cutie. i've been listening to them a lot this week...if you haven't heard of them, download one of their songs or check out their site. they're really good. anyway. this weekend has been interesting. yesterday was the race for the cure, which was actually pretty fun despite my hatred of physical activity. they also gave away lots of free stuff, which is always good. lol. also yesterday...::cries:: the only sports team i like whatsoever lost...::cries more::. lol, i absolutely hate sports but i am very loyal to my home state and therefore love the ut football team. they lost to florida 30-13, which for those of you who don't know, is their biggest rival. grr. oh well. i still say that florida cheated...anyway. today i went to youth group...and tonight i have choir. also i really want to go to goodwill to look for nifty cheap t-shirts. yay. i love the fact that i can still wear kids' t-shirts. :) i can't wait until either christmas or whenever i get money...cause i reeeally want to get this death cab for cutie shirt and also a juliana theory one...but i am broke as usual. :(. well, i'm gonna go eat some cereal...yummmy....but i'll blog either tonight or tomorrow. bye.

20 september / i can't believe i haven't blogged in 12 entire days. yikes, sorry guys. i had to redo my blog, and i've also been pretty busy. so anyway. today was the last day of the grading period, and next week we have standardized testing, so i shouldn't have much homework for a week or so. yay. in other news...i don't think i've rambled on about the play (arsenic and old lace) yet, so i'll take this grand opportunity to do so. i made first callbacks but didn't make final callbacks...so i was kinda (okay, very) upset. i talked to the director about it and he said i didn't make it cause i looked too young compared to the seniors. oh well, at least i'm not a total failure as an actress. but anyway, he offered me the job of student director/understudy (for the role i wanted...yay...but still, dangit), and of course i decided to take it. it's lots of fun...we have an awesome cast and rehearsals are going very well. the shows are going to be great...i am so excited! :D so that's what's been taking up most of my time. school's good i guess. guys...ehh. i like this really awesome guy but a bunch of other girls (one in particular..grr) think their job in life is to flirt with him at all times. that makes it very complicated. i really hope he can see through all of her fakeness...argh she doesn't deserve him...:(. i'm just trying not to think about it right now, but of course that's not working. aaah. well, i'm guess i'm gonna go blast some music and chill for awhile. talk at you later...
