0Congrats to Dave & Kirk for winning the second half. They finished almost 23 points higher than the second place team, Jim & MarkL.

Next week is our last week of the 2002 season. We will be doing a 2/4-man scrambles just as we did at the end of the first half. Again, that means that your team will be pair with another team. The pairings were derived from the list of team handicaps. The lowest team handicap is paired with the highest, then the 2nd lowest paired with the 2nd highest, etc. This is to make the teams as fairs as possible. Since there is no official order that has been decided previously & since first-come-first serve doesn't quite work, the secretary put numbers in a hat and decided the tee times that way. Although, at 4:37 next week if the team to go first is not ready the second team will be able to tee-off as in the past.

Taking the low-net prize this week was Bunk with a net score of 1-under. Receiving honorable mention was John N. with a net score of even-par. There a few others at 1-over, also. Receiving a punch in his IWIGILN-card this week was Brian W. with a score of 3-under.

There are no prize holes next week to allow for a prize fund for the top 3 teams in the scrambles. Each golfer is asked to put in a "5-er" towards the prize fund. Three will go to the top 3 teams and 2 will go to a team skins competition. The skins competition will be conducted, as normal. Details of any of the above will be given upon request from Rick or Bob prior to teeing off.

On befhalf of everyone in the Stats department, I want to thank everyone for a great time and a special thanks goes out to those that kept me on my toes. I hope to do it again next April with the same group.
