Notes:

Last week, we seemed to have a little problem having everyone, or at least the first few groups, there and ready to play at the 4:37 starting time. No one needs to tell me how things can get hectic at work, at home, or on the road, but the course counts on us being on time off the tee every week. That was one of the reasons why we left Bedford Hills because the league in front of us was always behind schedule. Contact with your partner or someone else in the league that you know will be there ahead of you, so your whereabouts and ETA will be known.

Secondly, the course is still trying to figure out the "first-half-check-mix-up". They told Bob last we they would fax a list of the people that wrote checks from the 12 that they have. Then, they want us to figure out who the missing two check were written from. So go back in your files to see if 1) you wrote a check and 2) if it has cleared the bank yet. If you could possibly bring a copy of the cancelled check to the course this coming Tuesday that would be very helpful.

Taking the low-net prize this week was Cam K. with a net score of 10-under par. Receiveing honorable mention is Brett D. with a net score of 3-under. There a few others that were just a little better than Brett but their application to the IWIGILN was "shelved" for another week. This coming week will be the last week to in. So, if you've put in every week since we've started the low-net this year and haven't won, this is last chance to get your break even or better. We've done it about 15 weeks (not counting the first two weeks and the 10th week) and our normal total is in the high teens to almost 20 bucks.

Next week's prize holes are C.T.P. 2nd on #10 and Long Drive In Fairway on #18.

See you next week, 08/20/02! Let someone know if you're going to be late or absent, as soon as humanly possible. The whole league will thank you.
