Notes:

Much like the temperature, the scoring continues to heat up. During the previous years, it was rare to have a team net score in the 60's. Over the last few weeks, the rarity is a team over 70. There must be a lot of league members with very small "honey-do" lists and lots of free time on the weekend to tune up their games.

For those teams in the lower ranks of the league who feel that they are out of the running, remember that with a few average or good weeks could make your position rebound to put you right back in the running. Not to mention that there is still 5 weeks left in the second half. That's right...I said 5 weeks. It seems like we just started the second half.

Bunk who came in with an actual score of 3-over and with his handicap his net score was 7-under. Hnorable mention goes to MarkL at 4-under and there were 4 that came in at 3-under. Secondary honorable mention goes to Kirk. His actual score was a 1-under. He didn't get in the low-net pot and wouldn't have beat Bunk anyway due to his very low handicap. He has to shoot about a 3 or 4-under (actual) to compete.

Next week's prize holes are Long Drive On #10 and Closest-To-The-Pin 2nd Shot On #16. Prizes are subject to change due to not having clearance from the Governor of Prize Holes.

See you next week, 07/23/02! Let someone know if you're going to be late or absent, as soon as humanly possible. The whole league will thank you.
