Notes:
To finish out the first half, we had a 2-man/4-man scramble. Congrats to the winning team of Joel, Steve,Rick, & MarkS. They came in at 29 (-7) that was punctuated by a curling 10 footer with everyone looking on to clinch it. Second place goes to Al,Chris, Bob & Bunk. They almost had to take a penalty shot on #2 after Bob's approach shot from the fairway. Thankfully the ball was found in the cup. Rounding out the top 3 was the team of JohnN., Adam, JimB, & MarkL. They came in with a score of 31 (-5). A great time was had by all and unless JimW. & Jon have something else to say about it, we will probably doing this the last week to end the second half.
There were 5 "skins" in last week's scrambles. Of course, with an eagle on #2, Al/Chris/Bob/Bunk got one of them. John/Adam/JimB/MarkL got one with a birdie on #7. The last three skins went to Joel/Steve/MarkL/Rick with a birdie on #3, eagle on #4, and a birdie on #9.
The new scoring system for the second half is still up for discussion. I have a dedicated a special page with a number of choices due the various opinions after the last week's round. So,
