Week # 7

Notes

Finally, a week without any rule changes. Of course, Jim W. is always coming up with suggestions and those are wieghed for what they are worth. Last week's average score was almost two strokes better than the league average score. It looks like the league took advantage of the nice weather over the holiday and took time to hit the links for some practice. A number of great scores were recorded, like the pair of 37's carded by Dave B. & Kirk Y. Also, Nick B. & Pat E. got their mops out and cleaned house. Pat took the Long Putt prize on 14 with a Hail Mary putt from downtown. Nick took the CTP 2^nd Shot prize on 16. Lastly, they tied for low net at "5 under". Receiving honorable mention was Mark S. at -2 and Joel D. at -1 for net scores. Dave B. would have earned the low net prize with his score of -6 but opted not to get in.

Including this coming week, there are only two weeks left in the first half. The 10th week, June 18th,we will have some sort of scrambles (2 or 4 man). Maybe we can get some thoughts on this after the round on Tuesday.

Next week's prize holes are CTP on #7 and Closest-To-The-Creek on #8 (This shot can be anywhere --rough, fairway but not in the water.)
