Samuel T. Fidler (Samiam)
July 20, 1980 - January 31, 2003
"The brightest stars don't always shine the longest", a quote from Sam's minister. For being just 22 years old Sam had an accomplished life, we cannot complain about that; we can only learn from him. He rarely let a moment slip past him. He was an amazing person who loved his life, his family, his friends, his pets and all of his hobbies, which included scuba diving, snowboarding, skateboarding, camping and cooking. He loved to cook, opening a cookbook was like starting an adventure to him. He even loved his job, he was an ironworker (Local 155), and would dazzle everyone with his flair and skill
Please take a moment and remember Sam, and then take another moment and reflect on your own life. We do not know why things like this happen but they do, and we all need to realize we are not promised tomorrow. We have all learned, and are still learning so much from this loss Gone, but not forgotten, we love you Sam. |

Sam...My dear smiling man Such a sparkle when your life began. We all miss you since you went away, All those practical jokes you did play. You were so full of life my son Always having a bit of fun. Bringing happiness to each of us. We have all been truly blessed. I know when I meet up with you This pain will finally be through. You will make it clear to me That this is how it had to be. Until that day my dear sweet one I will never forget you son. For your happiness lives on with me Until the day I am set free. Lyndie Sorenson in memory of Sam, Joey Sorenson's buddy in Heaven |
