Joan Whaley is an architect and lectures extensively on the design and planning of integrative medical centers and has appeared on numerous radio shows, international conferences and at major universities. Her past work spans a wide range of acute care hospital designs and wellness centers throughout the world. Ms. Whaley has dedicated her career to the design of healthcare facilities and the synergies that may be found in healing environments. In the past, she has worked at Perkins & Will, Ellerbe Becket and KMD.
Ms Whaley is also the author of “Wellness Centers”.
