Pandit Abhay Kumarji
June 24th - 30th, 2004
Pandit Abhay Kumarji has been a teacher of Jainism for over 25 years. He is also widely traveled and has been visiting the US for many years. He completed his formal education and earned his Masters in Commerce in 1974 at Jabalpur University. Later on, he went to receive his Jain Darshana Archarya from Rajasthan University in 1985. From 1981 to 1998, he was an instructor of Jain religion at Shree Todarmal Jain Siddhant Mahavidyalaya in Jaipur.
Pandit Abhay Kumarji is an excellent Orator in Hindi. He has composed about 50 religious songs and one Pujan. He has also translated many Jain songs and Poetry from Sanskrit to Hindi and also from Gujarati to Hindi. Some examples of his translation work include 7 volumes of Bhakti Sarover, Atmanushasan (by Acharya Gunbhadra), and Laghu Tatva Visfot (by Acharya Amritchandra).

Dr. Hukamchandji Bharill
July 5th - 11th, 2004
Dr. Hukamchandji Bharill is the founder of Pandit Todarmal Smarak Trust. He is a scholar of Jainism and also has a doctorate in Literature. Dr. Bharill has lived, practiced and preached Jainism for a few decades. Upon request from the international Jain community, Dr Bharill started visiting various locations throughout the world. He has been conducting lectures in the US since the early 1980’s Jain.
Dr. Bharill has authored more than forty books that have been translated into several different languages. Children and adults worldwide use his books for studying and understanding Jainism. Some of his work includes " Who Am I?”, "Tirthankar Mahaveer and his Sarvodaya Tirtha", "Balpothi Pathmala", "Vitrag-Vigyan Pathmala", "Know Thyself", "Krambadha Paryay", “Naychakra”, and "Non-violence In the light of Mahaveer".
One of the most attractive qualities of Dr. Bharill is his ability to transform complex Jain Philosophies into simple, understandable principles. His lectures are easy to understand, easy to relate to because he uses everyday life examples and humor to make the point.
