Hello everyone welcome to my little tibute to KISS and HOTTER THAN HELL.... some would ask who is HOTTER THAN HELL... HTH is a band that was hand picked by Gene himself to double for KISS in the Detroit Rock City movie.... yes hard to belive it wasn't really KISS in parts of that movie... the original lineup that Gene chose was if i'm not mistaking...

All of which were dead ringers for the originals I've watched the movie several times and even went and got a copy of it for myself and still have problems telling which ones are the real KISS! There is a slight diffrence in the 2 bands.. but do you honestly expect someone to be exactly the same as someone like KISS... HTH is one of the best KISS tribute bands i've ever seen and hope they keep up the good work...i'm not sure of the current lineup of the band but i do know Scott is still in it.....when i seen these guys Scott told me they had a diffrent lineup which did not include him due to them doing so much at the time i seen them...... so the lineup and pictures on this site unless otherwise said are of the following:

Hotter Than Hell was created in 1994 and after performing hundreds of dates throughout North America, honed their authentic recreation of the "KISS experience" to razor sharp perfection. KISS themselves have proclaimed Hotter Than Hell to be the only official KISS tribute band. This claim was further validated in 1998 when Gene Simmons hand selected the band to double for KISS in the New Line Cinema feature film 'Detroit Rock City'.
Hotter Than Hell rocks audiences with an unforgettable mix of signature KISS tunes, fire breathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars, explosive pyrotechnics, authentic costuming, full kabuki make-up and exact staging from the 1977 LOVE GUN TOUR.
Currently based in New York, the group has performed over 2000 exhilarating shows and toured over the entire UNITED STATES and across CANADA, selling out theme parks, festivals, fairs, theaters, casinos and has been featured in numerous media events from national television and radio to the major motion picture screen!
For the new millennium founding member Scott McClusky ('Ace Frehley') now takes Hotter Than Hell to the next level combining forces with another KISS tribute founder, Benny Doro ('Paul Stanley' of Black Diamond fame) to fully recreate the rock spectacle that KISS fans demand.
HOTTER THAN HELL TIMELINE:
1994 - Band was formed and toured extensively throughout the US and CANADA
1995 - Opened for KISS on the official KISS CONVENTION TOUR
1996 - Performed at several of the 1st KISS EXPO's including ATLANTA, NY and CHICAGO
1997 - Appeared live on NBC’s TODAY SHOW with Katie Couric and Matt Laurer interviewing the band. This event
was in conjunction with the NYC TOY FAIR where HOTTER THAN HELL appeared as the official spokespersons
for the MCFARLANE TOYS line of KISS action figures.
1998 - Doubled for the members of KISS in the New Line Cinema feature film "DETROIT ROCK CITY" filmed on
location at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.
1999 - HOTTER THAN HELL goes to Los Angeles, California to paint KISS makeup on playmates for the KISS issue of
PLAYBOY. (*March 1999)
2000 - The NHL playoffs played host to an outrageous performance from HOTTER THAN HELL to a sold out crowd
of over 20.000 people at Florida's NCRC Arena.
2001 - Gene Simmons’ private party in honor of the release of his autobiography KISS and Makeup served as
a great backdrop for another stunning performance from HOTTER THAN HELL in NYC.
2002 - HOTTER THAN HELL will be featured in the upcoming movie "MOCKSTARS". Visit the

2003 -HTH performs at the PEPSI CENTER in Denver, CO.,
to a sold out crowd of over 18,000 people during an
AFL Game Halftime Show. Their performance is seen
by millions over NBC affiliate TV broadcast.
