This series of seven DVDs contains mostly unabridged footage of the Kakegawa 2004 FMF teacher visit to a Kindergarten School, Elementary School, Junior High School, and High School, including but not limited to the following contents:

JFMF SCHOOL VISIT SERIES DVD#1:
KAKEGAWA CITY JOHOKU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL VISIT #1
The Kakegawa City Johoku Elementary School Visit #1 DVD contains the following footage:
• Students and teachers entering the school and interacting in the morning (7 min.)
• A school-wide assembly featuring traditional Japanese children’s’ games (36 min.)
o FMF participants introduce themselves in Japanese, and one participant gives a speech to the students.
o Student leaders conduct the assembly in the manner of Japanese business meetings.
o Several students demonstrate several traditional Japanese games on stage.
o An FMF participant plays “Country Roads” on the saw (as in a saw from the hardware store.)
o All students stand and perform the school song to piano accompaniment.
• Extensive observation of a 4-2 classroom:
o Music performance with recorder-playing and with singing in both Japanese and English (4 min.)
o All students in the 4-2 class come up individually and introduce themselves to me in English (7½ min.)

• Opening meeting introducing the Aijitsu Kindergarten and describing the kindergarten system in Japan (42 min.)
