THE LORD WILL PROVIDE

"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6: 30-33)

When we have Jesus in our hearts, we have God Almighty as our Father;  therefore, we don't need to worry for nothing. Psalm 23:1 says "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want". We have to seek for the things of God first. In our lives, the priority must be pleasing God. He wants you to do His will, to read the Bible, to pray, to fast, to go soulwinning, to sing hymns, to think of things worthy of praise. When we do his will, he will provide.

The Lord provides us spiritually, physically, financially, and many other ways. Let's read Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Note that the verse says "ALL YOUR NEED", not "ALL YOUR WANTS". When we fail to do God's will, he won't supply our needs. He will supply us ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY. That means we will have food to eat, a bed to sleep, clothes to wear, and we will not need to worry because it is the work of the Lord, not ours.

This doesn't mean that we shouldn't work, because we have to do our duties as a Christian (that includes being subject to the laws of the land), that means we have to take out of our minds thoughts like 'I don't have a dress to wear tomorrow' or 'I don't have enough money to buy a carton of milk' because if you love the Lord, and follow His commandments, He Will Provide. Praise God !

If you want guidance for your next test, your should ask the Lord in prayer for guidance. Is there a habit you would like to overcome? (Like watching TV); Ask the Lord in prayer. "For every one that asketh receiveth..." (Matthew 7:8) The Lord Will Provide.
