A Personal Dictionary is essentially a journal in dictionary format.

For any given word all numerical entries are in chronological order. This

means that as you read through a definition you will be reading through

my temporal understanding (or misapprehension) of the word. There

has never been any attempt to edit or correct previous entries. For me the

archaeological record of thinking is more important than consistency. And

what is consistency? And how and why would one want to maintain the

same relationship to something which one is constantly attempting to define?

If there is such a thing as sincerity in thinking, in living, it must reside in the

contradictions that thinking, that living, engenders.

Thought is movement, an activity, or it is nothing.
