Jackson, MS

I was not in Natchez at all. There's a break in the Natchez Trace Parkway in the Jackson area. I guess large cities aren't scenic. :-) (10/28/00)

This is a bad photo of a sign at the junction of I-20 and I-220 (which is also I-220's south end). (12/1/01)

This is a photo of a state-name I-220 shield on eastbound US-80 probably 1/4 mile W of the 220/80 interchange. (12/1/01)

Another state-name Interstate shield, this time for I-55. This is on Northside Drive in Jackson. (12/1/01)

Here is some signage from the Texas frontage roads in Jackson. There are frontage roads running next to I-55 for several miles in northern Jackson, and the ramps merge into the frontage roads rather than directly into the highway. (12/1/01)

Lousy shot of a neat black-and-gold street-name sign in Madison, MS. (12/1/01)

Sorry for the bad shot again (it was partly because I was in a different vehicle than usual and the window was still extremely dirty even after being cleaned), but I had to show you some of Jackson's directional mayhem. Not to mention that this is the junction of I-20 and I-55. (12/1/01)

This is a sign for a traffic circle near the Jackson International Airport (which actually doesn't fly directly out of the nation, but can connect you with airports that do, and contains multiple concourses, so it's international). Compare this with another traffic circle in Florida and the signage for it. (12/1/01)
