Morgan/Limestone Counties, Alabama

Some signage from the northern split of US31 and US72A in northern Decatur (which is partially in Limestone County as well as Morgan; in fact, I got photos from both counties). (7/21/01)

The AL24/AL67 interchange in Decatur still has button copy signs up. This is one such sign. (7/21/01)

This looks like an old BGS. The numbers are in button copy, and the shields look like they've been pasted on or something. (7/21/01)

This is the Mississippi Queen, a riverboat on the Tennessee River in Decatur that I photographed. Didn't Mountain do a song about this boat? :-) (7/21/01)

This possibly unreflective sign tells people that US72 goes to the left, but in reality US31 goes to the left (and the right). Not too far north of here is ALTERNATE US72. Therefore, this is a DOUBLE error AND probably an old sign, too. (7/21/01)
