Bill Dawson introduced me to Iceledo 25 years ago. He learned about it by taking a course in Backpacking at Memphis State. From 1975 through 1979 I made about a dozen trips --alone, with just Bill, with Andy, T.A. and numerous others. We saw flashfloods, electrical storms, zero temperatures...everything but snow. These photos were taken on seven of those trips. Bill died a few years back and I don't know what happened to "Iceledo Gap". The above photo was taken in April, 1976. Willie Weeks 7-5-00
