summarizing strength and hypertrophy
in theory, which protocol will work better?

Summaries of literature often suggest that hypertrophy is the result of low intensity training at high volumes, whereas strength and power gains come in response to high intensity training at low volumes (Hisaeda, Miyagawa, Kuno, Fukunaga & Muraoka, 1996). Making a causal statement as broad and conclusive as this, however, becomes highly problematic, as both hypertrophy and strength adaptations occur at the result of numerous mechanical and physiological conditions.

Summary of which exercise would produce better strength and hypertrophy gains according to physiological and mechanical principals.
