First of all, I'm new to gospel clowning. I been playing the piano in church for about 5 years now and clowning about that long too. I'm a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Corinth, MS.
My family and I have several things we can do for your church or youth group.
A. My family and I can come and bring a 30-45 minute show either in costume or out to your church (It's the church's choice since some don't believe in having costumed characters in church). I have several skits for you to choose from:
1. The Plan of Salvation (adapted from Ralph Dewey's Book)
2. The Story of Jesus' Birth (adapted from Luke 2)
3.The Armor of God (adapted from Ralph Dewey's Book)
4.Safety Shows
5.Magic Shows
and many more. If you need a show with a specific theme other than the ones listed just let me know and I'll write one to your specifications.
Each show incorporates a message with humor and balloon sculpting.
B. I can help you find resources on how to start a clown alley in your church or youth group and work with you on make-up and costuming.
We don't do Gospel Skits on Sunday, as I'm obligated to my home church as their pianist on that day. But I will gladly come on Wednesday night or any other day and time of the week.
