Soccer Camp

In the summer of 2009 I took these photographs of the wonderful sports camp at my local University. I use a fun little blue colored VGA Carabiner Camera made by Argus called the bean sprout. It was a fantastic day and everybody was in a great mood. It seemed like there was about 400 or 500 people at the event.

I like to watch girls play soccer. I mostly like Big Ten Soccer, the girls here ranged from about 5 years old up to about 13 years old. They were highly energetic and were all having such a good time. It helped that the weather was really good and there weren't really any negative parents or coaches.

I highly recommend that everyone check out your local community for fun sports camps, youth leagues or anything that is fun and safe for young people to get involved with. These camps provide the kids with memories that last a lifetime.

BIG TEN WOMENS SOCCER
Mood:  chatty
Topic: soccer

Hey everybody, I just wanted to tell you how much I have been enjoying watching Women's Big Ten Soccer matches on TV every week.  After recently rediscovering how much I love tennis, I have found a new love - Women's Big Ten Soccer. It is so much fun to relax and have a beer and watch these women play a match on the fantastically landscaped fields of the midwestern universities. Last week I watched Purdue at Iowa and a couple of days ago I enjoyed the Michigan at Northwestern game. Northwestern has such an awesome field! Sometimes the games can get a little slow but, with the positive energy of the attractive ladies and all of the beautiful scenery, it is always a good time. I can't wait to see the next game each week. I will really enjoy the Semifinal and Championship games at Iowa, be sure not to miss the action. Check out the television schedule listed below for upcoming Women's Big Ten Soccer matches. The times may vary by location, so check your local listings.

After four years the FIFA World Cup is finally here. And we are talking about a normal world cup, one where Korea and Turkey don't go all the way to semi-finals (not that I have anything against them) or former World Cup Winners don't go home after the first round (although I must admit I found it hillarious when Argentina left). And I'm a confessed World Cup fan, I mean, when my teams play (Germany and England), I wear something to represent the team like a belt, a shirt, a pin or I take the flag to wherever I'm watching the game, but that's it. But that's pretty normal right? Most people do that for practically any sport they enjoy right? Well, these last couple of weeks I've seen all kinds of things that have truly showed me how far people go to show their support of their teams. Here's what impacted me the most:.... (read more)

FIFA WORLD CUP!
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: GERMANY 2006
Topic: soccer
I like Soccer. I played in the AYSO when I was a young boy. I have attended one pro soccer game in my life and I was amazed at how far they can kick the ball. I prefer to watch soccer matches on television. I especially like matches between two really good European teams. My favorite teams are from England and Italy. This years FIFA World Cup will be held in Germany. Click Here for a link to information on teams, standings, matches, results, and past world cup tournaments. 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Firstly, many thanks for inviting me to the community-it shows that at least one person must have visited my site! My site has now relocated to http://www.angelfire.com/super2/satafternooninthekop and now not only covers possibly the greatest footballing nation in the world, Togo, but also definitely the greatest domestic team, Sheffield United. If you're looking for thoroughly researched online journalism based on hard facts then my site is perhaps not for you, but if you're after an irreverent, humorous and sometimes factual look at the beautiful game then pop right in... I thank you... Daniel
