Indianapolis played 3? months of perfect football, opening the season with 13 straight wins. Despite this, the Colts (14-3) ended another promising season with more playoff misery in the form of a 21-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mike Vanderjagt slammed his helmet in disgust. Tony Dungy looked on in disbelief, while Peyton Manning and the rest of the Indianapolis Colts searched for answers to give the media after another early playoff exit.

On Monday, fans were more interested in assessing blame for yet another playoff failure than recounting the highlights of the season.
