Ellen Ann is a produced playwright, both of her plays have been produced by her alma mater, Cedar Crest College. Her second play, Lopsided, was commissioned by the college. Writing is her first love -- directing is her second. Ellen Ann has directed several plays at Cedar Crest both for the main stage season, and as fund raisers for an alumnae based fundrasing group that she founded, The Friends of Cedar Crest Theatre (FCCT). Ellen Ann also was responsible for putting together a weekly cabaret act at Mt. Washington Valley Theatre Company for a Sunday evening cabaret series. Currently she is working on several novel, Return to Camelot, a love story, Out of the World, a sci-fi love story, and Blind Man's Bluff, a detective romance/mystery.
By daylight Ellen Ann is the director of marketing for The Town Hall Concert
Hall in New York City. She also works part-time at Cedar Crest College as
the Marketing Director for the Cedar Crest Stage Company. With fifteen years
of nonprofit arts management experience - her other experiences include
working as director of publicity/box office treasurer for the Mt. Washington
Valley Theatre Company, press assistant for the Berkshire Theatre Festival
and creating a working publicity/marketing office for the Cedar Crest Stage
Company while a student.
Ellen Ann has a B.A. in theatre from Cedar Crest College. She resides in Allentown, PA, with her companion and three cats.
