Letter to the customer:

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis five years ago.   My right leg was affected and the use of a walking cane was inevitable.  My reluctance to using a walking aid was soon changed when I designed one of my own.

Having to use a cane usually warrants careful consideration and at times creates apprehension.   I wish to help diminish this apprehension by   making my canes accessible to the public.

Being colorful and attractive, hopefully these walking canes will form a more positive attitude towards disability.  My cane makes me feel more confident and less self-conscious.  Also, I've discovered that each cane makes an excellent conversational tool to explain and answer questions about Multiple Sclerosis.

I do hope that you will enjoy your new cane and use it proudly.   Ten percent of the proceeds from each cane will go to the research for the long awaited cure of Multiple Sclerosis.
