The 23rd Psalm

Traditional.............................................Metaphysical Interpretation

The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He maketh me lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside still water

He restoreth my sole.
He leadeth me in paths of righteousness
For his name's sake.

God is the Source of my Abundance
Unending and ever present;
I am filled with peace and vitality.

I choose my highest good,
my greatest glory
For God and I are One.

Even though I walk
Though the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff---they comfort me.

You prepareth a table before me
In the presence of mine enemies;

Even when I forget our Oneness,
God does not desert me
The awesome Power of God comforts me,
Protects me, reminds me.

Even in the midst of negativities
I am reminded of my Prosperity.

You anointest my head with oil,
My cup overfloweth.

Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me
All the days of my life
And I shall dwell
in the house of the Lord forever.

Within God's everlasting love
My utmost desires are met.

Within God's everlasting love
My utmost desires are met.
God is with me and of me and in me always,
And my gratefulness is unending.
