the starlets was formed in autumn 1998. first they had another drummer and veera joined the band in january 1999. the first demo tape was made with this composition. four gigs have been played: at orange-club, vernissa, semifinal and "ääni ja vimma"-band competition. feedback has been enthusiastic.
  the starlets are all about twenty-years old, and except for veera, beginning rock-musicians. music in its other forms has always been a hobby for the starlets: veera has played also saxophone, riikka violin and jenny piano.
  until now all songs have been written by riikka. words come mainly from jenny, except for couple of songs. at the moment they have about ten songs qualified for a gig. two of them haven´t been played in public yet...
  a new demo tape will be recorded propably this fall.
