What do you actually do when you
join?
Right now? Not really anything... You get the honor of having
a Spice name, don't you? ;o) I planned to give out awards to
fanfic, etc., but I've been really busy this past year, so there
just hasn't been time for it. Maybe sometime in the future,
though, you never know.
How it all got started:
The first Spice ever was Pusher Spice (Linda). She was good
friends with Alisha (now Syzygy Spice), who one day decided that
she would call Linda Pusher Spice on the postcard she sent her,
simply because "Pusher" was Linda's favorite X-Files
episode. Linda in turn, decided to call Alisha Syzygy Spice for
the same reason, and this is how it all got started. I decided I
wanted to be Memento Mori Spice, and when my friend Sal heard
about this, she couldn't stop laughing. So I then asked her if
she wanted to be a Spice as well, and that's how she became to be
known as Detour Spice. Well, now there were four of us, so I
thought I'd start a society! I asked Linda and Alisha if it was
OK, and this is what Alisha's answer was; "Sure. Fine.
Whatever." Well, should I have expected anything else?! ;o)
Linda simply replied; "Mango-Kiwi-Tropical swirl. Now we
know we're dealing with a madman." (Or a mad*woman* in her
case, trust me on this. *s*) So, now you know the history of The
X-Philes Spice Society. Now, of course, Alisha has changed her
member name to Arcadia Spice, so this feels a little wrong... ***Alisha is by own choice no longer a member of TXPSS***

Do you have to be a Spice Girls fan
to join?
No!! Absolutely not! I'm not a big fan of them at all
(although I'm not ashamed to admit I like a lot of their songs,
and yes, I have both of their CDs), it just fits to put Spice
after the episode name.*s* All you have to be is a fan of
"The X-Files", and if you weren't that already, you
wouldn't be here right now, would you? *s*

Great! Just choose which episode Spice you want to be, mail me
at Starbuck79@hotmail.com,
and you'll be signed up! (It can't be an episode that is already
taken, though.) Also write a bio on yourself (if you want one).
If you can't think of anything to put in it, I suggest you read
some of those that are already up. And don't forget to put TXPSS
in the subject line; everything will get here a lot faster then.
