Other ramblings: Currently I am going to a "junior college" and will be
transferring to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX next year. I'm
majoring in Journalism and have hopes, for now, to someday write for a
television series. I originally wanted to work in radio and still have some
hopes to play with that for awhile, too. There is a *lot* you can do with
degree, so the choices are unlimited.
I've watched X-Files steadily for about a two year. I'd watched it off and on
since the very beginning (Even though I was only 13, I do remember watching the
Pilot, and Fire the first time they aired.) Anyway, since then I've seen all
the episodes so I am all caught up. What got me hooked? The MSR. This show
has turned me into a hopeless romantic. And I do mean hopeless.
My best friend, Heather, was the person who talked me into giving the show a
bigger chance than I had been. We both list "Paper Clip" and "Bad Blood" as our
favorite episodes of all time. (Though, S7's last two episodes are knocking on
the door of them.) Anyway, that's why I picked Paper Clip Spice. It has every
element that I think a good mytharc episode should have. Even if I can nit-pick
it to death.
I've been writing fan fic for just over a year, I think. I have a site where
it's housed: TT: XF (for short) at http://www.geocities.com/saddledreams. I
also have up on there reviews for all of S7 and some collages among other
various things. I first "met" Angela when she gave me feedback and archived one
of my stories, which I can't thank her enough for. I found TXPSS and had to
join because it's right up my twisted little alley.
I have a mean sense of humor, but I can be very serious. I'm described best as
a "good listener." (Yeah, boring, I know.) Music is a passion of mine. I
played in the band from sixth grade all the way through my senior year.
Somewhere in there I picked up guitar. I collect CDs. I like every type of
music. In the past year I've really gotten into movies also, though that
passion isn't near the one for music.
