grandmother can be , Loving, compassionate, beautiful,
determined, honest and intelligent. And you have
more courage and strength then anyone I know. You are
a shining example of what every grandaughter wishes
her grandmother were. I love you so very much and I'm
very proud to say you are my grandmother.

My Mother

The very essence of strength, and courage, calloused
hands from long hours of hard work, Yet
tender-hearted, loving, comforting, and soothing; All
of these things describe my mother, yet they are so
many more. She has left so many more memories. Strong,
yet tender, caring arms lifting me when i fell and was
hurt, A cool soothing hand feeling my fevered forehead
when I was sick; She seemed to be always near when she
was needed twenty-fours a day. She always had a
understanding ear and a strong shoulder for me to cry
on, no matter how bad my problems were. And she could
always be counted on for the perfect solution. She may
not have had that much of a education herself, she
only went to the eighth grade. ( My father went to the
3rd. They were divorced when I was five- years old,
and she recieved no child support) But she saw to it
that all four childeren finished high school. Three of
us recieved our B.S. degrees from college. And I
finished my masters degree. My mother was the greatest
mother on earth, and my greatest hero.
