Aloha! Thank you for visiting me and checking out my pictures, welcome to the Island of Hawai'i also known as the Big Island.. This is the youngest, most mysterious and still growing Island in the Hawaiian Chain... This island is very large, know to fit all the islands in the chain right here...Very beautiful and very peaceful...one can only see for themselves..

So sit back...relax and let the pitures load....... UA MAU KE'EA OKA AINA IKA PONO O HAWAI'I. Original King Kamehameha Statue...Located in North Kohala. Pu'uhonua o Honaunau, City of Refuge, South Kona. River leading into the Hilo Bay. Beach front of the Hilton Waikoloa Resort, Located in South Kohala. Another picture of the Hilton Waikoloa Resort. Overlooking the Kona Surf Resort on on the peaceful Keauhou Bay, Kona. New land formed by the continuous flowing lava....This was once a tranquil blacksand beach in Kalapana..Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" video was shot here prior to the flow. Historical Church which was moved prior to the flow of the lava... Rescued wooden carving from the natural destruction of Kalapana... This is a view of the slopes of Mauna Kea, Pohakuloa area. Yes, it does snow in Hawaii. It gets deep enough to snow board for those extremists. Just one of many craters on Mauna Kea. I hope you have enjoyed the Island of Hawai'i so far..I am currently taking more photographs as I have time and will be updating them as I go along.
