4th Devotional:
Isaiah 43: 10 "You are my witnesses", declares the Lord, "and my
servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and
understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be
one after me." God is saying here that the people who believe and trust
him, need to share with others about Him. Acts 1: 8 Jesus says, "But you will receive the power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you; and you will by my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in
all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Jesus is saying
that when you believe in God, the Holy Spirit will be in you and you
will share what you know with everyone. Acts 10: 39-43 We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of
the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree, but
God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.
He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already
chosen-by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. He
commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one
whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets
testify about him that everyone who believes
