1. GROWTH IN HOLINESS SEMINAR IN IBAN

2. NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING COURSE IN MANDARIN
Venue : Old Father’s House,
Date : Sunday, 12th July from 9.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
This course is for those who will be getting married or married
couples. For further information, please contact Catechist Josephine
Sia (019-8158460).
3. TEEN’S OUTREACH - ST. PAUL’S DRAMA
In view of the final night of the Miri Parish Secondary School Bible
Quiz and Drama Competition, a concert will be held on the 23rd of
August. The story of St. Paul will be dramatized that night. All
teenagers especially boys are invited to participate in this play.
Practice will start today, 5th July at 3.00 p.m. at the Piasau Kindergarten.
Parents, please encourage your children to participate. Thank you.
4. RALLY FOR TEENAGERS WITH FR. STAN FORTUNA
Venue : Imperial Hotel, Ballroom
Date : 20th - 22nd September
Theme : “Set Free” (on healing and
deliverance)
Registration will be done after Mass today (5th July). Parents,
please strongly encourage your children to join.
5. HOLY MASS IN BISAYA
Venue : Church of Mater Dei, Lutong
Date : Friday, 17th July @ 7.15 p.m.
All Bisaya parishioners are most welcome.
6. THE GOLDEN JUBILEE OF SISTER JOSEPHINE MARY OF THE CROSS
OF THE CARMELITE ORDER
Venue : Carmelite’s Chapel
Date : Saturday, 18th July @ 5.00 p.m.
All parishioners are invited to celebrate with Rev. Sr. Josephine
Mary of the Cross of her 50 years of Consecrated Life to the Lord.
There will be refreshments after Mass.
7. HLS JOGGERTHON 2009
Deeply grateful to God, the Organizing Committee of the recently
concluded HLS Joggerthon sincerely thanks His Lordship Bishop Anthony
Lee, the Parish Priest, Fr. Gabriel Chiong, Fr. Andy Lee, all the
priests of the Diocese, Catechists, cell-groups, prayer groups,
the Chinese Youth group, the Chinese Mass Wardens, the Taman Tunku
Church Committee, the joggers who made special effort to participate,
and all parishioners of the Diocese of Miri who have contributed
in one way or another, to the event which raised about RM140,000.00
for the cause of life. May God bless you all.

MINGGU BIASA KEEMPAT BELAS
1. KURSUS PEMBAPTISAN BAYI DALAM BAHASA MALAYSIA
Tempat : Katedral St. Joseph
Tarikh : 5hb – 7hb Julai jam 7.30 malam
Kursus ini diadakan setiap malam berturut-turut sehinggalah hari
Selasa, dan bayi akan dibaptiskan pada hari Rabu, 8hb Julai jam
5.30 petang. Semua ibu bapa dan para wali yang ingin anak-anak mereka
dibaptiskan adalah dikehendaki mengikuti ketiga-tiga sesi kursus
ini.
2. SEMINAR TUMBUH DALAM KEKUDUSAN DALAM BAHASA IBAN
Tempat : Gereja Mater Dei, Lutong
Tarikh : 9hb – 11hb Julai
Semua umat yang pandai berbahasa Iban adalah digalakkan untuk mengikuti

3. PERHIMPUNAN UNTUK PARA REMAJA BERSAMA FR. STAN FORTUNA

Tema : “Set Free”
Pendaftaran akan diadakan selepas Misa Kudus selesai pada hari ini,
5hb Julai. Para ibu bapa hendaklah menggalakkan anak-anak mereka
untuk menyertainya.
4. MISA KUDUS DALAM BAHASA BISAYA
Tempat : Gereja Mater Dei, Lutong
Tarikh : Jumaat, 18hb Julai jam 7.15 malam
Semua umat Bisaya adalah dijemput datang.
5. JUBLI EMAS SISTER JOSEPHINE MARY OF THE CROSS BAGI CARMELITE
ORDER
Tempat : Carmelite’s Chapel
Tarikh : Sabtu, 18hb Julai jam 5.00 petang
Semua umat Paroki dijemput untuk sama-sama merayakan Misa Kudus
Rev. Sr. Josephine Mary of the Cross selama 50 tahun Pengabdian
Hidupnya kepada Tuhan. Jamuan diadakan selepas Misa Kudus selesai.
6. JOGATON (LARIAN AMAL) HLS 2009
Pujian syukur kepada Tuhan, pihak Kominti Penganjur Jogaton HLS
(yang telah berlangsung minggu lepas) dengan setulus hati ingin
merakamkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Bapa Uskup Anthony Lee, Paderi
Paroki, Fr. Gabriel Chiong, Fr. Andy Lee, semua paderi di Keuskupan
Miri, Katekis-Katekis, cell-groups, prayer groups, Kumpulan Belia
Cina, Para Warden Misa Cina, Komiti Gereja Taman Tunku, para pelari
yang telah berusaha untuk menyertainya, dan semua umat yang telah
menyumbang dalam apa sahaja bentuk sumbangan sehingga berjaya mengutip
kira-kira RM140,000.00. Semoga Tuhan memberkati anda. |
