The Portrait Of An American Family Association (POAAFA) is in no way affiliated with Nothing Records, Interscope Records, or Marilyn Manson. The creator of this group is Moonfier and she has come a long way from this just being a little idea on a Marilyn Manson mailing list to something that has been mentioned in Rolling Stone Magazine. Our Constitutional rights are supposed to be issued to everyone, but people don't think that Marilyn Manson should have these rights. The first ammendment says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. And in Article 3, last paragraph of section 6, it says:
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or Public Trust under the United States.

Parents should spend less time
getting acts like Marilyn Manson banned from certain venues and more time
watching/raising their children. Raising a child *right* is a full time
job and doesn't leave room for time-consuming activities like lobbying
