honor the earth campaign creates awareness and support for indigenous environmental issues and leverages needed financial and political resources for the survival of sustainable indigenous communities...to ask people to recognize our joint dependency on the Earth.

the snowden environmental trust the set was created in 1996 by dorthy "dar" snowden williams, a popular folk musician. the set accepts donations and then donates the money to many different environmental organizations. most of these organizations are small, grass roots organizations run by individuals. a list of the organizations that received funds in 1998 is avaliable here

the enviromental defense fund: the edf is a not-for-profit environmental advocacy group with four main goals: (1) stabilizing the earth's climate, (2) safeguarding the world's oceans, (3) protecting human health, and (4) defending and restoring biodiversity.




peta online provides so much information for animal lovers! including a list of companies that test on animals, many "undercover" reports that show animal cruelty at its worst, and other important things every animal lover should know.


fur is murder is a site run by PETA that gives you an insight into the inhuman practices by the fur industry. it would turn the stomach of any feeling person to read how these animals are treated before their deaths, and how cruely they are killed.
