****IF we had the power to metamorphosize into giant insects we would simply procreate and then I would bite the head off my mate, ending it all there and then. Unfortunately, we were born humans, and our powers of the mind have us doing crazy things like dressing up as the living dead and emanating sweet music into the atmosphere of fellow dead things, with the intention of creating a sinister dance. Not so bad.
****We are American artist ScaryMary Santa and Count ESPADA from Buenos Aires. The music we create is akin a DEATH MARCH or a FUNERAL DIRGE. We encorporate strange dance beats and warrior like lyrics into an electro-dark melody. Keyboards, samples, electric violin, voice, metal drums, smoke, fire and blood transform the energy... thus invoking FATAL BEAUTIES.
****in 1998 in Buenos Aires, Our dark sound.... emerged from the RUINS of it's glutonous past . Our DESTINY, as Fatal Beauties began with romantic sexy influence of South America. Their lust for European Gothic music, and grand ability to wear black, since well before Christ, inspired our 2000 release, A DREAM OF BATS.
**** In 1991, in New York City we began playing together as STARVING JESUS, when we met in this satanic den of excitement, drugs and filth. We played in the PYRAMID and a dark, coffin shaped gay bar on 7th Street in the EAST VILLAGE. In our drugged out days we were offered many a licentious gift during a performance, and ended up playing one song every 10 minutes. We did manage to record a DAT of 4 songs, at Waterworks Studio, NYC, in 1992. This dark and lusty CD, with Scarymary Santa on Guitar and Espada on Bass, we plan to re-mix and release when the time presents itself.
