Hi, I'm Kit, a 21-year-old
uni student in Sydney, Australia. My sister Sash and I have been
obsessive fans of the New Zealand Cricket Team since they toured
here in January 1998. I also maintain websites devoted to Dion
Nash (unfortunately our favourite players proved rather
injury-prone!) and Stephen
Fleming, plus Fun
with Black Caps - a site about the whole team, in one form or
another.!
On New Zealand's
tour to England in mid-1999, Chris Cairns was man of the series.
Around that time Sash and I were staggered to discover that no website
existed to this brilliant player, so I decided to create one. Since
then, Cairns hasn't looked back. After its initial creation, however,
The Chris Cairns Site was long neglected until a total revamp and
a lot more content was added in early 2000.
In June 2001 I modernised
the site's appearance once again, in order that it might better
pay tribute to Chris Cairns. I update The Chris Cairns Site whenever
possible, but I do apologise for any unavoidable lapses.
