Amanda’s Happy Hutches Guarantees:The health of your rabbit is guaranteed, there are no visible signs of disease (diarrhea, nasal and/or eye discharge, malocclusion, sore hocks, infections, wounds, abscesses, broken bones, other deformities) please feel free to examine the rabbit. If your rabbit exhibits any signs of disease within 2 weeks please call immediately and we can mutually decide on the cause of the problem. If it can be traced back to the Happy Hutch Rabbitry I will take the rabbit and give a full refund or a replacement rabbit (if one is available and of greater or equal value) the choice however to replace or refund is mine .
In order to prevent any of our rabbits from ending up abandoned or in a shelter, we will accept back any rabbit you have purchased from us at anytime but you will not be entitled to a refund or reimbursement for any expenses you have incurred with the rabbit. If you return a rabbit to us we ask you to include their cage, equipment, feed & toys. You will not be given in money in return for giving us the cage and accessories as they will be given to the rabbit’s new owner. If for some reason we are unable to physically take possession of the rabbit at the time, we will assist you in finding a new home for the rabbit. Any rabbit will be returned to Amanda’s Happy Hutches the same way it left, with no injuries or diseases and having been well cared for.
We will hold a rabbit for you for up to a month for a good faith non-refundable deposit of 50%. If you decide not to take the rabbit we will return the the deposit to you. We will also hold a rabbit one week without a deposit. After one week, the buyer must have the deposit to us. If not, the rabbit will be available for others to purchase. We offer this policy so you are able to take your time to decide whether or not you wish to undertake the responsibility of rabbit ownership. We also have to have these policies in place due to misunderstandings, people backing out, and confusion. Also, the buyer MUST remain in contact with us in order for us to continue to hold the rabbit. If we are not contacted at least once every two weeks, either by phone, email, regular mail, ect. we will assume the buyer no longer has any interest in the rabbit and no longer wants to purchase and all deposits will be null. If something happens to the rabbit that the buyer has a deposit on, we will offer a replacement or a refund of the deposit (if more than one rabbit is being held, only the deposit for the particular rabbit will be refunded, not the entire deposit), buyers choice. We will not rush anyone into making a decision to purchase a rabbit and feel that this is a fair arrangement for both perspective owners and ourselves. I'm sorry, these sound so strict, but sisuations that have been occuring have once again deemed these necessary.
We do our best to accurately sex our rabbits before they are purchased, but mistakes do happen. If we sex your rabbit incorrectly you can return the rabbit for a full refund or replacement if the mistake negatively effects you or if the rabbit was purchased for a breeding program.
Pet Rabbits: Pets are rabbits, that for the most part, have disqualifications or major faults that would render them unshowable, but would not affect them in any way as a pet. Pedigree's are not provided for pets. They can be purchased but for the price as if the rabbit was show quality. Pet rabbits, do however come with birth certificates showing age, name, gender, variety, breed and parental information.
Breeding quality Rabbits: Breeding quality rabbits are rabbits that may have faults or disqualifications that do not decrease the value of that animal as a breeding animal (such as an oversized doe). Breeding quality rabbits come with thier pedigrees.
Show Quality Rabbits: Show Quality rabbits have no disqualifications, and only minor faults at most. Show qaulity rabbits come with thier pedigree's, and if they have them thier registrations, any flat ribbons they may have earned, breeding ceritificates, and copies of their show cards.
We cannot guarantee the success of any rabbit at the show table or in a breeding program, and I offer no warranty on thier quality. When choosing a rabbit you can have access to a current copy of the ARBA Standard of Perfection and we encourage you to use it to make sure you get the rabbit you are going to be happy with. Please take the time to carefully check and evaluate any perspective rabbits. We promise to assist as best as we can and any faults we are aware of will be pointed out to you. We also do not mind if you wish to consult with another breeder or judge to help you evaluate the rabbit. I will be honest to what I think the strong and weak points of the rabbit(s) are. Show quality juniors are sold as-is, due to I cannot guarantee the outcome of a junior as the come into maturity. If you want to be certain of what your getting, consider a senior.
,p> We will not knowingly sell a “mean” rabbit, mean defined as vicious. If you are having trouble with a rabbit, please call us immediately and the rabbit will be evaluated. We will provide any assistance and training to help you with any difficulties you may be having. Also, keep in mind most behavior problems can be “cured” with spaying and neutering and maturity of a rabbit. If we cannot remedy the problem I will replace the rabbit or refund the purchase price provided that the rabbit is returned to me. Exceptions are if the rabbit's aggressiveness is due to being abused, illness after the guarantee has expired, injury, if the behaviour is due to the rabbit being pregnant or with kits, or if the rabbit is sold to the buyer with a history of aggressivness, and they want such rabbit anyway.Any other problems: If you ever have a problem with your rabbit please call us for assistance. We welcome all calls and updates on how are rabbits are doing. We do accept checks, but bad checks written to us are subject to a $50.00 charge.
Recommendations: We recommend all pet rabbits spayed or neutered. You should spend time learning all you can about rabbit care; a pet care booklet is a good source of information. If possible your pet should be kept inside the house, it’s better for the rabbit and easier for you.
I have read and understood the above guarantee and agree to abide by it. I have carefully examined the rabbit and agree it is in good health and free from disease. If I am buying this rabbit for show and/or breeding I agree that I have carefully examined the rabbit and checked it for show disqualification’s and did not find any. The official form sold with each rabbit will have a place to sign and date.
