The Pure Fire Project is a group of musicians who combine their influences and talents to create an aggressive and original sound. All the members in the Pure Fire Project have been actively involved in the music scene; ranging from death metal to cheezy ska, they have been a part of music in the area for years. Their music has best been described as "progressive hardcore", and recently as "mathmatical chaos", combining hardcore(obviously), grindcore, progressive rock, emo, and metal. The group plays shows as often as possible and like to get out of Hattiesburg as frequently as possible. Update: We must appologize for this old ass web site! We are working on a new site, but we have to use this one for the time being. We have a new guitarist, Eric Jamison (one of the original members of Mainframe Theory). We also have our CD's and shrits for sale; the CD's are $6 and the shirts are $8, email us if you want more information. Besides that, nothing else is new, just want to thank all those that come to our shows and help us out!
