Charlie Bennett
Charlie Ammons Bennett, son of William Calloway Bennett and Elizabeth Lucinda Elliott, was born 12 May 1862 in Mississippi. On 26 November 1882 he married Elmira Blaylock, daughter of Richard Blaylock and Lucinda Jane Keith. Elmira was born 6 May 1864 in Winona, MS. Charlie Ammons Bennett died 23 April 1953 at Winona, MS. Charlie and Elmira had the following seven children:

  3. Richard Bennett (female), born 30 Nov 1889 in Montgomery Co., MS; married Eugene Edward Campbell in 1910; died 18 Aug 1969 and is buried in Duck Hill, MS.

After the death of Elmira Blaylock, Charlie Ammons Bennett married Myra’s sister, Frances "Fannie" Blaylock. Fannie was born 25 Dec 1865, died 5 May 1943, and is buried at New Hope Cemetery in Montgomery County, Mississippi. Charlie Ammons Bennett and Frances "Fannie" Blaylock, had four children:

Prior to Frances "Fannie" Blaylock’s marriage to Charlie Ammons Bennett, she was married to Fair C. Bennett, son of Henry Grundle Bennett and Hannah Taylor. Fannie and Fair were cousins. They had the following children:

  3. Mary Elizabeth Bennett born 28 August 1888; married Elmer Curtis Bennett in 1906; died 2 July 1971; buried at New Hope Cemetery, Montgomery Co., MS.
