Billie Joe Armstrong, born William Armstrong on the 17th of february, 1972 is the lead singer/guitarist of Green Day. He grew up in a family of six children with two parents with the unfortunate death of his father when he was ten. He got a guitar from his father before he died and he still has that guitar today. He dropped out of highschool to persue his dream as a lead singer of a rock band. Many awards and five albums later, Billie Joe is pop rock icon who lives with his wife Adrienne and his son Joey.
